Introducing Josh and Gabriella!
Their story is way too cute y’all – they’ve been dating for years, her favorite flowers are sunflowers, and they have an epic proposal story. The surprise proposal happened in a sunflower field in Haymarket, VA. We were expecting great weather – so what more could you ask for? When I got to the field the weather was beautiful – blue skies, white clouds, thousands of sunflowers. It didn’t start getting gray till Josh drove up. As we walked out to the field it started sprinkling, and then gently turning into rain. As Gabriella started walking out to where Josh was, the rain began getting heavier, but it wasn’t until Josh turned around to propose that the heavens opened!!! It only lasted for about 3 minutes then it tapered off in time for me to still get a few photos of the moment. Then about 10 minutes later, all clouds went away and we had a beautiful blue sky, no clouds, and thousands of sparkling sunflowers. Haha, we had very much a Nicolas Sparks/Hollywood movie moment going on for awhile. Anyway, I’m excited to share their photos with you all – I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
