I am so excited to announce my first mini session for this year! It is going to be a SUMMER session, so make sure to get the sunscreen out. It took me a little while to finally settle on an idea, but here it is! I’m going 1950’s retro style!! Yep, that’s right! Think root beer floats, 1950’s diner, vintage coca-cola stuff, kids in retro/vintage clothes, and red lipstick (no, you don’t have to wear any if you don’t want too :).
The Set: The set will be something along the lines of a sheer-white background, and possibly some chrome chairs with a yellow 50’s diner table. I’m planning on having root beer floats at the ready, and lots of props to go with the 50’s vintage/retro theme (including some American flags for some good ol’ American pride).
The Dress Code: Dress in things summery or retro. Neutral tones will go well, but I think that clothes with bright colors will stand out significantly well against this background. Reds and blues especially. Those are just color suggestions – I think that with this set any color will stand out and look great!
I would love to see you and your families at this fun summer session! I am looking forward to it as I have a special soft spot for the 50’s retro feel and I can’t wait to see what you guys bring to it.
