What a fun moment this session was and what an experience to get to wait for the ship 77 to come in with thousands of other people waiting for their loved ones! I’ve never quite seen a crowd so huge before! But what a special time it was to see so many family members greet their loved ones for the first time after a 9 month-long deployment. I have taken photos for Lydia and David before and I am blessed to have them as friends. Lydia, her mom, sister, and best friend all excitedly waited for them to begin to let people off the ship. It was fun to be able to see them for a little while and share in the joy of David’s homecoming. It’s been a few weeks now, but still, welcome home, David! And thank you so much for your sacrifices and service! Go Navy!
