Greetings All!

I’ll tell you, it has been CRAZY busy here, but absolutely, SO much fun. The months of October and November are filling up, so I am in full gear photography season right now. And through it all, I have to say … I love it. It is SO busy, but I have SO much fun with it. And right now, there are even more things that are going on that have made it so much fun.

First off, I have to say thank you to all those involved in my Fall Mini Session this year. Thank you to all those that made this whole day a great success (we had 10 families!) and thank you to one of my best friends in the whole entire world for helping me out so incredibly and being my assistant for the day. I could not have done it without you, Abi!! (yes, a shout out to a friend. 🙂 You all, seriously, I can not doing a mini session day without an assistant anymore, and Abi did a great job. The Mini Session itself went SO well! I had so many gorgeously smiling faces and we all had perfect weather and beautiful lighting all day long. It was a lovely mixture of fall sunlight and crisp air – perfect for the hot apple cider. I’m excitedly working on those photos now (along with an awesome senior session I did on Friday), and I hope to have those on the website in a few weeks.

Along with the amazing day we had for the mini session, the almost even more exciting news is:

*drum roll please* ….

The arrival of my new camera!!! I can’t even express my excitement for this in words. It’s been a while in coming, but after lots of saving and research I am now welcoming a Canon 6d into my camera family! I could go on about all of it’s specs and details, but I won’t do that in this post. However, it is an exciting new arrival and I seriously can not wait to use if in my next sessions. *Sigh* It’s been a very exciting and thrilling week. Until I can get the photos from the mini session and senior session posted, here are some photos of my set for this session and some pre-edited sneak peaks from both sessions. Enjoy!
