Strawberry Romanoff

Oh, goodness.  I just realized I only did one post in February…and now it’s the middle of March.  Wow.  It has been a cra.z.y. semester.  I have been telling people that it is my first real semester because I am spitting out about 2-4 full papers (not essays, mind you, but papers) a week.  And that is pretty much where all my time has gone.  It has been on the computer, and it has been writing, but unfortunately, it has not been blog posts.  🙁  Hmmm…maybe I should just post those and have you guys review them for me!  Haha, don’t worry.  I won’t.

I did have a fun photo-op the other day though!  FIRST, I should say Happy Birthday, Mom!!!!  Mom, if you read this, please know that you are an amazing and wonderful person, one whom I look up to and is a role model in my life.  The family and I had a lot of fun getting ready for your birthday and really enjoyed celebrating you.  I love you!  🙂  Now, to the rest of you, one of the highly anticipated events for my mom’s birthday was the homemade ice cream cake my dad and siblings made, and the strawberry romanoff my dad made to put on top of it.  It was a complete surprise to her!  And it was extra special because it was the first thing my dad had made my mom when they began to date.  The rest of us enjoy it because it’s super yummy.  Enjoy the pictures of it!  And Happy Birthday, Mom!

For those of you who know me, have no fear, it’s sparkling cider 🙂  Apple-Raspberry too!  My favorite!

(I re-used a picture! Gasp!)
